Port area that be the responsibility of PTB is divided into two parts: the area of Muara Jawa and Muara Berau.
PTB aims to facilitate the operation of the port of Muara Jawa and Muara Berau to help ship / cargo barges of coal, lean and loose dock to the mother ship and guide the aircraft carrier berthing place anchors that secure with a quick response in case of fire or pollution.
Samarinda
Port of Muara Jawa and Muara Berau is a protected area, guarded by a security team (security) yyang experienced and ready to stand for 24 hours in a day in the Muara Berau and Muara Jawa and cooperate with Sea Water Police and local KPLP. For the smooth operation of the port users with the purpose of facilitating the standards of the port of Muara Jawa and Muara Berau, PT. PTB has operated two 2 (two) units of tugs, 2 (two) ships pilot, 2 (two) ships safety and 1 (one) common vessels to help ship / barge cargo barge coal, lean and loose dock to mother ship and guide the ships to put the mother ship docked boats anchor the safe and rapid response in case of fire or pollution. In case of unwanted things like for example; fire, PT. PTB has provided two (2) units of fire safety vessel for 24 hours.
